Those of you who are supporting the Obama care reform (soon to be known as the Kennedy care reform; supposedly to "honor" Ted Kennedy, but actually to take Obama's name off of it so that it won't be as reviled), think of these things:

1) IF this thing goes through, you won't have any more money and you won't be hurting "the rich". They'll still be rich and you still won't be rich.

2) IF this thing goes through, you'll be taxed for it and your money will help pay for Rush Limbaugh's health care (Rush is uninsured because he chooses to be). Do you really want to help pay for Rush's next hearing implant? No? That's what will happen if this thing goes through.

3) IF this thing goes through, the rich (like Rush) won't suffer or be unable to get medical care that you can't. They'll still be rich. They can get into their private jets and fly to whichever country they want and get whatever kind of health care they want. You won't be able to get into your private jet or even fly first class and get whatever health care you want. So how is this making the playing field level for you?

4) IF this thing goes through, you'll be taxed for it even if you don't join it. Yep. They'll take 2.5% of your gross pay (that's pay before taxes) of your paycheck, plus the regular taxes as a fine for you not signing up. Then when you do sign up, your costs will go up because you are a member and using the services. It's actually going to be cheaper for you to NOT sign up.

5) IF you don't sign up for this thing, it will be cheaper for you. Problem is, will the hospitals and doctors be able to treat you if the government has taken them over? Are you happy with the treatment you get from the IRS? The government owns that. Are you happy with the treatment you get from Health and Human Services (HHS)? The government owns that. Are you happy with the treatment you get from any government entity? If not, why support the government taking over your doctor and your hospital?

6) IF you think that this whole thing won't be as bad as it's being painted, you are wrong. So very, very wrong. I have written (so far) three pages to get the truth out about this thing. They are available here:

And then stand up and take our country back from this bill. This bill takes away as much of your American and God given freedom as any one bill can.
