Left's Hypocrisy Shows Again

Aren't you sick of the hypocrisy of the Democratic party and their leaders? I am.

I found this little ditty in one of my resources for the "Know thy enemy" approach to things that I take:

"You may have seen it: An angry mob in Texas carrying fake tombstones with Rep. Lloyd Doggett's name on it. Signs with an "SS" symbol on it calling Obama a Nazi. A cardboard version of Rep. Frank Kratovil hanged in effigy outside his district office by "Teabaggers" in Maryland." [my italics]

Yep. There it is again. That hypocrisy that they are so infamous for. See it? See that "Teabaggers" statement that is actually a sexually explicit smear on those who attend[ed] the Tea Parties across our nation?

That "Teabaggers" term is a sexually explicit smear on you because "teabagging" is a practice done by some who are.... Well, let's keep it nice and say that the missionary position is not their favorite sexual position. I think we all know by now that the thing they are referring to is a sexual smear. I also think we all have figured out that it is a smear based on a particular sexual practice. That group of people is a favorite target of the liberals who like to smear anyone who disagrees with them. It's not the only smear they use.

I've heard it said about so many conservatives nowadays that it is now expected. I know when someone is disagreeing with me that it is bound to happen: "That's so gay!" or "He's so queer!" or "X is a fag!" Why is it that the homosexual community puts up with the left's use of that kind of "defense" of their positions? Rush Limbaugh is wrong to them so they get to call him "gay"? Since when does that make sense?

The left is supposed to be okay with people being gay, and yet every time someone disagrees with them, wins an argument with them, or proves them wrong, predictably, the first words out of their mouths is, "That's so gay!" I thought the left was the political side that was on the side of homosexuality and were the ones standing up for the rights of homosexuals. Why is it okay for them to promise to stand up for "Gay Rights" and at the same time, every time they're angry at someone, shout the sexual epitaph, "You're gay!"?

Still, the left's favorite smear on anyone is that particular phrase in one gender or another, or with one pronoun or another, but always ending with "gay, queer or homo". When I want to think of someone standing up for my rights and being the political party I associate with, I don't think I'd be happy if the first slur out of the mouths of my own side was, "You're so heterosexual!" I'd be saying, "Yeah. So? I thought that was what you believed in and stood for!" What is it that the liberals/progressives/left aren't getting in that hypocrisy they are doing? Why are people of any sexual preference tolerating that sort of behavior?

The practitioners are many: Perez Hilton http://www.tmz.com/2009/06/25/perez-so-sorry-for-gay-slur/, cartoon characters on "The Simpsons" http://www.tmz.com/2008/11/04/nelson-owes-milhouse-apology-for-gay-slur/, James Caan's son, Scott http://www.hollywoodbackwash.com/scott-caan-apologizes-for-gay-slur/, Janeane Garofalo http://www.newsblaze.com/story/20090418123756lill.nb/topstory.html and the list goes on. And then there's the "casual" use of the terminology that the left participates in. They drop "gay" into a sentence as though it were not inflammatory or as though it were Paris Hilton saying, "That's hot!" It rolls off of their tongues as though it meant nothing for them to use it.

I know many, many conservatives, or at least those right of center. I have yet to hear any of my friends, family or acquaintances drop those kinds of phrases into their speech patterns. I hear it from the other side, but not the conservatives and yet we — conservatives — are supposedly the problem for the homosexual community. We are supposedly the "hate mongers" the people who can't abide those who are "not like us" or who are not conservative Christians. We hate them and despise them and we want them all dead if you listen to what the left is saying. But is it the every day conservatives who are using that kind of language? No. We hear the left using it much more often — we're talking to the power of ten here — than the right does. Even though that is true, the right pays the price.

Think about this: How long has the left been promising to make things right for the homosexual community? How long have they promised bright, sunny skies filled with nothing but good things in the future and the homosexual community will have everything they wish for and it's all just wonderful? I enjoy the comedy of Jeff Foxworthy, but I see him use less gay stuff than Jeff Dunham and Foxworthy is much more conservative than Dunham. But I see Dunham do a whole routine about his Prius, his Chihuahua and how gay he looks driving the Prius while holding the dog. Is that what the homosexual community thinks is funny? The fact that Perez Hilton throws gay slurs around as though they were nothing, and Janeane Garofalo does the same and that's okay? Why the hypocrisy?

Why is it okay with anyone that someone's sexuality is brought up as a slur in the first place, and why is it that okay with those who are homosexual for their supposed leaders, friends, political supporters, etc., use their sexuality as a slur against anyone: gay or not? Why is it okay that the first thing out of the mouths of a leftist is, "You're gay!" but wrong when the first thing out of the mouth of a right winger is, "I disagree with you but I'll fight to the death to give you the right to say what you believe."?

When homosexuals hear their side saying that sort of thing, it should be every homosexual's battle to put a stop to it; especially from the political and Hollywood crowd. When you see Perez Hilton using gay slurs, it should be the duty of every homosexual to make sure that it doesn't happen again. When Ms. Garofalo uses homosexual slurs, it is the right and duty of every homosexual person to say that they won't stand for that any more.

When you see the Democratic Party send out "Action Alerts" that include references like the one above, it should be the goal of every homosexual — or anyone who participates in that particular practice — to contact the DNC and say, "Stop using what we do sexually as a slur. It's not your right."

In my opinion, what you do in your bed, as long as it's between consenting adults, is between you and God as long as my family members are not exposed to it and we are not forced to accept it as being biblically condoned. Your sexual practices are nothing I need to know about. But when the Democratic Party starts slurring people who are standing up for what they believe in by sending out their press releases with that "Teabaggers" in it, I think it's time for people to start making the Democratic Party answer to them.

Stand up. Go ahead and make a change. Make the Democrats stop using sexual slurs as part of their normal conversation and as part of their campaigns.
