Hi! Welcome to my blog site. I hope some of you will enjoy seeing what I post here. I know others will not, but that's okay because we're all different, right? Actually, I am sure some of you will get upset and maybe even offended. According to today's PC standards, I should apologize about that, but I won't. Ask any psychologist and they will tell you that I cannot control how you feel. If you get offended at something I write here, then that's your problem, isn't it?
That's absolutely correct. I don't care that if you are upset. I can't stop you from being upset. I can't please everyone and I don't try to. I please myself and my principles. I kowtow to no one and I am not going to try to make everything happy, pretty, pleasing, sweet and sunshiney all day long so that no one gets hurt, upset, angry, irate, or any other "bad" emotion because they came and read my blog. The way I look at it, at least you know you're alive and you know that something I have said touched you. That's a good thing, isn't it? Getting upset at what I write tells you something about yourself: probably that you disagree with me. And that's okay. It's okay to disagree with me because, as I said, we're not all alike. So, if you want to be upset, you just go right ahead and do it. I won't stop you.
If people wish to post in response to something here, that's okay. You are allowed; just keep it civil. No words, not even those fakey ones that use stars, dashes, or sound alikes to get the word across instead of actually using the word. That's a child's sneak and I don't allow it. You will either be edited or banned. I get to decide. I, being "The Powers That Be", am capable and more than willing to ban you. So if you wish to stay, control yourself as far as your language is concerned. You can express a strong opinion without using curse words and I expect you to do so. Other than that, if you wish to express that strong opinion, go right ahead. I can handle it. I have probably been called worse, and there are witnesses to that assertion.
So, welcome. To one and all for as long as they are controlled by their own brains. And, yes, that does mean you, Maureen. I'd love to get into some good discussions here with you. Please do comment. Please.
